  1. HI Jenny. I followed you from Marta's blog from http://www.loveinspiredauthors.com. I'd just been to enter the competition to win the books and read your post about the weather in your area. I love to watch ocean storms as the waves crash like liquid thunder onto the shore. Since I moved to western Canada from England, I've often wondered why people plant trees so close to their homes over here. I mean, the houses are basically made from wood, not stone like back home. Its harum-scarum here in a storm. Heard of many trees have been blown down and smashed into houses killing people. That must be terrible to witness or go through!

My debut novel "White Heaven Women" to be released by www.imajinbooks.com is set in north England has not only love scenes and a bit of supernatural suspense inside a workhouse, it has a couple of fab storm scenes in it. But the buildings over there are solid, unlike the flimsy ones here. Makes me shudder when the wind picks up. Ho hum. Whats meant to be is meant, and theres nothing anyone can do about it.

Please visit my blog and have a wee LISTEN to me reading 18 minutes about the White Heaven Women. My north UK accent has turned a few ears..ha ha. Bless you.

To show my support for a fellow writer I joined your blog.
